Collective Bargaining Agreement Between Visalia Unified School District and Visalia Unified Teachers Association (VUTA) for 2023-24

Conduct Public Hearing and Approve

A tentative agreement between the district and VUTA was reached on April 28, 2023. Government Code Section 3547.5 requires that prior to entering into a negotiated agreement, the Board shall disclose at a public meeting the major provisions of the agreement, including the costs that would be incurred by the district under the agreement for the current and subsequent years. After providing an opportunity for public comment, the Board is to consider for approval the agreement between VUSD and VUTA effective July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2026.
